Letter from the Chair

November 16, 2007

Dear visitor,

On behalf of the Carroll Round Steering Committee, I would like to thank you for your interest in the Carroll Round Conference. Now in its seventh year, the Carroll Round conference continues to grow and attract top undergraduates eager to participate in the dialogue regarding international economics that is fostered by the conference and its participants. The Carroll Round also continues to receive recognition and praise from our peers from the finest economic institutions of the nation.

This year’s conference is to be held at Georgetown University in Washington, DC from Thursday April 17, 2008 to Sunday April 20, 2008. The Steering Committee has been hard at work organizing this year’s conference to ensure the success of this year’s conference and thus continue the tradition of previous Carroll Round conferences.

If you are an undergraduate and are conducting an original research project in international economic theory or policy, we encourage you to participate in the conference and apply through our online application. We invite you to peruse this website to learn more about this exciting conference or to contact us if you would like further information. Thank you for your interest in the Carroll Round and we hope that you will join us in Washington, DC for what will most certainly be a rewarding, exciting and memorable weekend.

Sincerely,

Yasmine N. Fulena
