2008 Schedule of the Carroll Round Conference

This year's conference will be from Thursday, April 17th to Sunday, April 20th. The schedule below will be amended as the conference approaches.

Thursday 17 April (Casual dress)

Evening: Conference participants arrive, check in at Marriott Georgetown University Conference Center. Nametags and welcome packets available at hotel's front desk.
8:00pm-10pm: Meet the Committee members and fellow participants over dinner at Hoya’s

Friday 18 April (Business dress)

8:00-9:00am Breakfast
8:45am Presentation set-up
9:00-11:00am Presentations
11:00-11:30am Group picture in Dahlgren Quadrangle
12:00-1:30pm Lunch at Bangkok Bistro
2:00-3:30pm Round-table Discussion with Dr. Philip Levy
4:00-6:00pm Free time to explore Georgetown and downtown DC
6:30pm Meet at Georgetown University front gate (37th and O Streets) to go to The Caucus Room
7:00-10:00pm Dinner and reception followed by Ibrahim M. Oweiss Lecture delievered by Dr. Steven Radelet

Saturday 19 April (Business attire for day, Casual dress for night)

8:00-9:00am Breakfast
8:45am Presentation set-up
9:00-11:15am Presentations
11:30-1:00pm Lunch at the Tombs
1:00-3:40pm Presentations
4:00-5:00pm John F. Nash Lecture delivered by Dr. Susan Athey
5:00-6:00pm Reception
6:00-9:00pm Free time before dinner
9:00-midnight Soiree (with food and dancing) in Georgetown

Sunday 20 April (Casual attire)

10:00-11:00am Breakfast on St. Mary's Rooftop with presentation of awards and gifts
